To make this Orange Julius extra creamy we added, what else, ice cream!

This recipe is super quick and beats the pants off what you will find in your local food court.




1 12oz can of orange juice concentrate
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 scoops vanilla ice cream (why not make your own?)
1 1.2 cup ice (about 12 cubes)


Add all ingredients except for ice cream to blender and blend until combined.

With blender on high speed, slowly add ice, one cube at a time. This part can get messy, so be sure to keep the lid on and drop the cubes though the inner hole.

Make sure that the mixture has a constant ‘vortex’ while adding the ice. If the ‘vortex’ stops, slow down and wait for the blender to catch up before adding more ice.

Once all the ice is blended and mixture is smooth, pour and serve.
