As the resident petspert here I felt I had to write about what our closest friends get. When it comes to new gadgets most of us think of action cams, wearables, how many pixels can you cram into a t.v. or the newest wave of escaping our reality.

One of the first pieces I’d like to show is the pet cube.

This wonderful device allows me to check up on the little ones from work or vacation. Sure this device allows you to see your pet as you’d imagine based on the picture but it has a lot more to offer. This Petcube allows you to set up 2 way audio so you can hear each other, a built in laser pointer (safe for humans and pets) allows you to play with your animals by simply dragging your finger around your phone  screen to move the laser around.

With 720P video and additional recording options this makes for a wonderful addition to any home . . . . or business? Petcube shelter allows animal shelters a way to set up cameras and the laser pointers for public use. A free app on the app store will let people find true love before heading in which will give more exposure of the animals to the community.

The next one isn’t very high-tech but but still innovative; here we have the Senses super roller

senses

This toy can offer hours of entertainment for your kitten but probably not as much for your 16 year old cat so make sure you purchase according. This toy doesn’t do much more than you would expect based on the picture but the ball does light up. Even with the of lack of a supercomputer this is one invention that is sure to keep your kitty going and going.

With both of the toys above, there is always an option that you can get for free from many online sites: boxes. Though the cardboard box doesn’t display 720P video or have dual audio transmission it still offers plenty of fun for your cat. As far as your dog, just get something soft that looks at them the wrong way and I’m sure they will have fun tearing it apart, like your shoes, or a purse.

As more Technology gets unveiled for 2023 you can bet I’ll be writing about it and giving you the first look at the great things to come (such as the Petcube treat dispenser).
