Do you need a good record player to play all your new vinyl records on? If you’re like me, my favorite pop star releases more LPs than I can keep up with. Every day now vinyl records become more popular among the layperson and not just the audiophile or nostalgic collector. I’ve recently joined the mass of people who have been buying vinyls as of late, and I’ve seen the question asked over and over.

“My brand new vinyl keeps skipping! What should I do?”

The comments all chime in with the same sentiment, “Do you have a suitcase player?”

Most often than not, the answer is yes. The truth is, suitcase turn tables are not good for your LPs. In fact, resting them on a half tray for too long is a surefire way to warp them. How do you fix that? You get a record player that’s not afraid to be a real record player.

I’ve been fortunate to have the 1 By ONE All-In-One Record Player to use for my highly personally treasured music collection and I don’t think I’ll ever need anything different. With its beautiful and sleek design, ease of use and set up, and all the extra modern features it’s been a pure delight to listen to my music in a more retro way.

First of all, my 1 By ONE All-In-One Record Player is white, which helps the contrasted black speakers stand out in a beautiful and chic way. Other models I’ve seen have been too small or too large, consisting of wood grain and fabrics. Truth is, the look of a model is a personal preference, but this one happened to tickle my fancy anyway. So much so in fact, I made a case to hold my records that mimics the style. Definitely a trend setter in my house!

I’ve often seen people tell those poor souls with suitcase players to put a penny on the tip of their needle to help weigh it down to keep it on their record. Don’t bother digging through the couch for any change with this design and its counterweight. The setup directions told me exactly how to place the weight on the back and how to adjust it, but to be honest, it’s been fine as it is. The entire setup was done in less than 10 minutes and I was off to listening to my favorite tunes!

Okay well yeah that’s all great. But how often are you really going to use it?

Every day. I may not give a record a listen each day, but you best believe I’m using the Bluetooth/AUX connection to play anything I can get on my phone. I also plan on picking up some external speakers to REALLY get the effect of my music. Basically, it’s a large sound system that actually sounds pretty good. The volume can reach so loud, the highest I usually feel comfortable with is only about a third of its power.

How is this player different than other brands?

I have no problems.

Zero.

Other people in my circles have problems with skipping, needles, volume, static; and with the 1 By ONE All-In-One Record Player those problems just don’t exist. All I do is lay back and enjoy my favorite songs over and over.
