What you get in the box The controller 2 stickers 2 joy stick covers 2 back buttons 1 connection cable 1 star head tool 1 instruction manual. Price at Launch : $99 Price now: $50-$75 depending on quality. Where to find it: its out of production so look at e-tailers like amazon, ebay.   Its compatible with windows, Xbox 360. Its a plug and play device with no interface software, the controller has an analog setup interface and all the memory is stored on the device itself. The best thing about this controller is that every button is a “hair trigger” meaning it takes less pressure from you to do the action that corresponds to that button.   There are 4 programmable buttons; 2 at the top behind the bumper buttons and two on the back of the controller. Further more  the buttons on the back are “rocker buttons” meaning you can press any where on the button  to activated it.   At the bottom on the front face of the controller there is a little display with buttons on the left and right; you use the buttons to set up the mac profiles. The controller has provides up to 3 profiles: default, profile 1, profile 2. Default: at the default the controller works like your basic xbox controller with the mac buttons not enabled. Profile 1 / Profile 2: both profiles can be toggled between and setup via the buttons left and right of the little display.   At launch older FPS games couldn’t interact with the mac buttons so i had to use the default profile however that has been fixed in the driver patch and if you get one now it should interact with your game just fine. From my experience with FPS and the controller the mac buttons at the top can only be replace the bumpers and the mac buttons on the back replace the trigger buttons; now this was a little disappointing but I found it just works well and the speed you get from using the mac buttons vs the regular buttons is substantial and the experience is even more drastic when going back to a regular xbox controller. I found that I could keep up or even beat mouse and keyboard players at rate of fire in FPS games and also found that my hands didn’t feel as fatigued after long sessions of play while using the controller vs using a regular controller.   The worst part of the controller is the connection cord. Its acceptable to kinking, knotting and if a part of the controller is going to break down its the connector. Razer went with a pin connector instead of usb (which they changed and the newer models now have the usb connector) my first controller itself still works but the cable craped out; unfortunately razer didn’t/ doesn’t sell the parts separately so you need to purchase a whole unit as a replacement unless you are lucky enough to find your missing piece(s) at ebay and the like. The mac buttons on the back are removable and need tightening every now and then so if you pick one up keep that in mind because the back buttons will get loose enough to the point they will fall out.   All in all I suggest this controller to anyone who plays FPS with a controller or those that plays xbox consul; due to the “hair trigger” like buttons, the form factor and the performance the controller provides I feel its a must have for controller users.
