I think I’ve found the breaking point for stupid buzzwords.
Rafi is launching the world’s first NFT Fitness Lounge. What does that actually mean? Is it a real lounge, is it a virtual fitness place, or what makes it not fungible? Turns out in this case it is just your membership. You buy a membership that is Non-fungible and that’s that. My issue with this isn’t the business model, the cost vs. what you get, or the company as a whole. My issue is with words.

See, that didn’t mean anything, and couldn’t possibly be less special.
NFTs are an interesting idea that has the option to be explored for more than monkey art. With that said, if it becomes just another buzzword for selling things to the lowest common denominator, I’m all for wiping it off the face of the earth.
